Introduction

Citation analysis is performed in order to evaluate authors and scientific collections, such as journals and conference proceedings. Currently, two major systems exist that perform citation analysis: Science Citation Index (SCI) by the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) and Cite-seer by the NEC Research Institute.

In this project, we investigate new alternative notions besides the ISI Impact Factor, in order to provide a novel approach aiming ranking scientific journals and conferences.

Our system imports DBLP XML records into a entity-relational database. We have used MySQL as it is light and fast.

System may not be available sometimes, since it is an experimental service with continuous upgrades.

The Collection Based part of this site refers to algorithms and metrics publiced at: A new perspective to automatically rank scientific conferences using digital libraries: Information Processing & Management Volume 41, Issue 2 , March 2005, Pages 289-312

NOTICE1
System may not be available sometimes or not working properly, since it is still in development with continuous upgrades
NOTICE2
The rankings that are presented on this page should NOT be considered as formal since the citation info is incomplete in DBLP
